My dad is in town for the weekend and it was his birthday yesterday... Happy Birthday Father!

Went for lunch at one of the old School restaurants, Spring Court. Food was ok.... But the main thing here is the 'Supper' that we had..... Went to a place for Chocoholics!!!!!!

My dad got a cuppa brazillian chocolate coffee and a piece of Black Forest Cake. drink was nice but the cake... zzzzz a bit too weak IMO....

but definitely its a good place for you to hang out with your friends or your loved ones or with that someone special..

Btw lights are up the Christmas Season in Orchard Road... I must say this year the Deco along the road is nice... kinda 'snowy' feeling... all you photography enthusiasts should head down there and take some pics... i myself trying to see when i free to go down anyway...

Hopefully i'll post something from Orchard Road soon...... I wanna head down there hahahaa.... till then,.. ciaoz

well up to a certain extent i agree with this passage. sometimes the reason why pple take a puff is not becuz they are addicted to nicotine, is becuz the short period of time where u are so called relaxed and not bothered by the things ard you... just for that short period of time, its gives u time to relax and think things thru. It can also act as a cover to hide ur feeling of emptiness and helplessness..

Oh well, after my 'chalet' finished le... everything has to go back to normal.. kinda sian.... *sigh*

Can someone pimp my TV, Desktop and Room??

Its freaking official... I need a new desktop for my gaming needs.... Its freaking me off that my comp can't play any of the new games in the market today..... It always end up having to adjust all the freaking games on low.... and low sucks.... just sucks... and it pisses me off....

well first things first, I need to do up my room, yeah... a room for myself.. at long freaking last.. been putting off that idea since last year... no money to redo my grandpa's room....which somehow becomes my room....... needs a repaint, new furniture, new bed... just these things alone needs quite a big amt of cash. next thing is a the hardware... lol... hardware refering to new TV, Hi-Fi, Air-con(probably window unit), lighting...

TV = LCD TV with Full High-Def support, approx 2.7-3.5k
Air-con unit = approx 300-400??? cos its just a small window unit....
Hi-Fi = well not a big one something smaller will do fine but that needs 300-400 also, probably Tivoli Hi-Fi that supports my ipod.
Paint = will set mi back of at least 60-70 bucks? quite a big room i might say...
New Lighting = 100? or less?
New Cupboards = 1x Comic rack = 100-200 bucks... 1x clothing cupboard = 100-200.. 1 x matress without bed rack = 100-200 or more...

all adds up to at least 5k?
WOW!!! where da fuck am i gonna get that money? rob a bank? >.> best is tio toto or 4d... which will never happen in years... cos i got no interest.

sigh.... just the room will set me back that amount of money, and there my parents were saying no need la.. dun need a lot of money one... yeah right....

Next thing is my frigging desktop.... a desktop that can support the newer games on the market... really its pissing me off that i can't do anything... not able to play any games.... /cry.....

i kinda have 2 choices 1: Do up my own comp, new LCD monitor and keyboard and everything or 2: wait for next year's WCG when they usually sell a desktop + LCD monitor at a combined price if its enough for the competetive gamers its more than enough for me IMO.

Doing myself will set me back 3k? including LCD and software? probably lesser tbh but yeah looking at the specs i have in mind prolly that amt.... and getting from WCG abt 2k..... but.... can i afford to wait?

Ya know, when we were young and things were so called given, it doesn't feel the pinch lol, when u start to work, u got bills to pay, transport, food, money to give parents(although my mom says dun need but yeah, no matter wat must give back a bit)... OUCH!!!!!!! all my money from the start of the month becomes little at the end... pissed i am.. cannot buy anything.......

haiz... work sucks... and yet no work = no money.... i guess all i can do is to start working and saving money somehow... at least my target now is to get my desktop first la... other things can wait i suppose..................

well, the whole story too lazy to write, so here's a summary.

supplier needs help for something, we CSO help.

Letter was addressed to customer, although it was between the goods and supplier.

So normally we sign off, we sign of as:

Well, its wrong. even though u are working in the company, u are not allowed to use anything to do with the company.....

all of us thought that its just ok, we are working here in the company, so anything can look for us and we'll explain to the customer la... Morever its a letter that was drafted cos the customer asked for it not becuz we wanna do any harm to anyone.

but in the eyes of my bosses anything to do with the company name, U ARE SO DEAD!!! NO RIGHT TO USE COMAPNY NAME FOR ANYTHING!!!!

well, up to a certain extent they are right... but is there a need to shout at us? we were just trying to help but they talk like we are abusing under the authority of the company.....

So be it then... anything we will just ask every little god damn thing.

If you guys think its such a big issue and you all dun trust us. So be it...

its not our fault that someone else has abused ur company name... BUT DUN FUCKING JUDGE US IN THAT WAY. WHEN WE WORK FOR YOU ITS ALL BASED ON TRUST.. SINCE U DUN TRUST US... THEN EVERY FUCKING LITTLE THING WE WILL JUST ASK YOU.

Don't blame us for bothering u guys every other hour or something.... if there's no trust between employer and employee... Then why the fuck u guys hire pple. might as well do everything yourselves...

Death of SG Otakus!!!!!

At long fucking last. This will be end of singaporeans downloading anything off the net. Firstly, it was Music, and that was the last of downloads for free mp3s. Then came the Anti piracy d/l for Movies and stuff. so be it everyone thought. since it was the fucking big america that the shows and music that come from and it affected the whole world as america is a bloody Superpower and the bloody companies have the money to sue whoever.......

BUT WHY FUCKING ANIME DOWNLOADS ALSO GET AFFECTED!!!! There's not much reason for it... why the fuck is ODEX coming into the picture now? After for so long. every since how many umpteen years ago when i was still downloading stuff on the 256k, everyone was fine and not much shit happened. Every Otaku from SG was starting to know about anime then, when cosplay was just a small Singapore community, when comics was still starting to become popular. And everyone was enjoying shows such as Zone of Enders, Rurouni Kenshin, Love Hina, Hunter X hunter all these was available for download then, and everything was through Emule/Edonkey, then in comes the superpower bloody america and europe.

And then all hell break loose. the sites were shut down. althought they were not showing links to files etc. just links to share the bloody shows. and yet the whole world thinks that its not appropriate. So be it then.

so everyone switches to bit torrent. everything was fine.. until SG starts to follow the world trend. decided to clamp down on piracy in singapore. So be it.. Music we stopped, movies we stopped. Music there's good quality CDs that we can buy. so i'm fine with it, movies there are Dvds and cinemas, so be it.. to be honest some good shows best watched in the cinema. So that i accept.. and moreever shows are going digital meaning bigger screen and better sound so i dun mind paying for it. SG wanna stop these things and follow world trend? ok will do.

And now SG company ODEX comes to fuck every Otaku up in the arse out of the blue, sending letters to some people and slapping them with a 3.5k fine if they settle out of court. if they are sending letters for anime shows they licensed and people are downloading now, so be it. But they are sending letters to people who download like 4-5 months ago and slapping them with a fine now.

Firstly, how can ODEX just send letters to pple and slap them with a fine out of the blue. They did not have any newspaper report like for mp3s and movies where people are warned not to d/l or else get fined or/and jail term. There isn't anything or report from the media to the public.

Secondly, why is singnet giving to the company ODEX details of their customer details, things such as IP, such as what program they are using at the moment, what they are downloading and what they are surfing. If you tell me there is a Court order that says ODEX can get details like this, so be it.. but it seems to everyone that ODEX just 'casually' asks for it and Singnet just 'conveniently' gives it to them.

Thirdly, there isn't any warning from anyone in Singapore that states that everyone cannot download anime. or rather reports with things such as "don't download anime" etc. as least there were reports to warn and inform the public that downloading things such as movies and mp3 are considered wrong/piracy.

Four, why Singnet gives out details of the customers like giving candy to a baby. All these things are considered private and confidential, unless its a big case and there's a court order or something that requests the Singnet to ask the user to allow them to provide information to this so and so company for investigation purposes then so be it... At least let the user know and not out of the blue recieve a letter that says "You are being fined for d/l so and so items using wat program at wat time using wat IP address, Pay up or prepared to get ur arse sued till u have no pants."

Dun be a bastard company and start slapping people with a fine that says downloading anime is a infringe of copyrighted material. Have the company ever thought of the public, if they do sell good quality anime that is cheap and affordable for the public, is there a need to download anime at all? and its because the quality that ODEX provides sux to the core and caused people to not buy it and in turn cause losses to the company. So when you guys at ODEX cannot make money, you guys came up with this idea "oh since everyone is downloading anime we licensed, why not we start slapping everyone with a fine and start to earn some money out of it?"

without all the fan subbers around the net that does these things, will anime ever hit off in Singapore as well? will there be a big group of Cosplayers that have events every now and then and represent singapore in the Japanese worldwide cosplayers Competition? Heck, will there even be ODEX at all.

anyways, I never buy ODEX products ever since they stopped producing quality anime, more so since this thing happen. NO FUCKING WAY i'm touching their products. I might just follow hardcore fans and start to get parallel imports.

Anyway people who can afford to migrate to another country please do. Singapore is no longer a safe place where people can have a freedom of speech, PRIVACY and freedom of anything la..

Hopefully Otakus of Singapore can unite and at least come up with something to prevent this ODEX for doing this kinda sneaky things to other fellow Otakus, hopefully someone who has study law or something. i don't know lol... Start a movement?

Whether the bloody cheque gets cleared um... um.... um...... in ffxi terms {I don't know how to
answer that question.}
To most people, starting a new job means a new experience, a new excitement, but as you work and as the week goes by you start to hear things on the phone like:

"Hi, I'm calling from so and so carpark, its regarding the cheque that was given to us for the season parking. The cheque has been bounced! Is there anyone I can talk to?"

or

"Hi, can I speak to so and so?"
"May I know what is this regarding?"
"Its regarding a cheque that you guys are supposed to send to me 2 months ago and why until now I haven't receive?"

or

"YOUR BOSS HAS BEEN TRYING TO AVOID ME FOR MONTHS REGARDING A REFUND THAT HE IS SUPPOSED TO SEND ME! WHY IS HE AVOIDING MY CALLS AND WHY DOESN'T PAY ME? ITS JUST A MEASELY SUM OF 400 DOLLARS? YOU BETTER TELL HIM HE BETTER PAY OR I'LL TAKE HIM TO COURT AGAIN!!" *puts down the phone*

In just one day alone, 10 to 8pm, every other hour you hear the same customer calling. Calling for the same reason.

You find that when you step into the office, when you try and make a call to somebody, you find the phone lines is cut off, or rather cannot call out. End up you have to make the call through your handphone cos the customer is in front of you and asking a question you are supposed to help with.


What do you think when all these kinda things happen to you at your new job. How would you feel? All this is just between the customer and the boss. But what happens when your boss tells you "Oh we also provide home service! If you have to travel to the customer's house and the price for the journey, we will surely reimburse you!" and then in the next instant your colleague tells you "No matter what, try not to do home service please. Its for your own good. Previously I went liao I come back try and claim for so long still haven't claim ah."

Then pay day for my colleagues comes. Instead of hearing them saying they managed to get paid, you hear them saying "Wah lao, dunno when the boss is going to pay me!! he owe me 2 mths salary le leh. Dunno whether should i come to work tomorrow."

And so the story goes on and on... and thus the title of today's blog. How would you feel when the most basic thing of working for the salary that comes in every month is so vague. How to really 拼 to do your work properly. how to remember every detail for clients you have served when at the back of your mind you are worried whether you are getting paid for the work you put in.

1st movie review!!! hahaha

Instead of writing something that i'm supposed to continue from my previous post, or writing something about my current work and how much i really dislike my boss's work ethics, or how's my study for my adv. dip and how fucking expensive i paid for the taxi fare to get my arse to my class last monday. But today, i wanna write about a movie that i missed last year and is too good to miss for anyone whos in for a artsy fartsy(hope i spell it correctly) movie. Its one of the few movies that got me thinking, and I'll definitely recommend it to everyone.

Name of movie: Stranger than fiction

When we talk about the actor Will Ferrell, usually we remember him in comedies. Seldom you will see him acting in more serious roles. This show actually brings out another side of the actor showing how well he can act in a more serious role.

This movie is actually about the life of a person. From the time he wakes up in the morning, about how he actually calculates his timing to catch the bus to work, about how he works thru his day at his job, about how his day ends.

But one day while preparing to go to work, he suddenly hears a voice, a voice that actually depicts his actions thru the day, the way he lives, the way subtle changes affect his life, the thoughts that he actually have. And instead of living his life, controlling his own actions and thoughts by oneself, it becomes a life that he's actually living through the thoughts of another person, another person that actually 'narrates' his life. Having someone who actually control what time he eats, how fast he eats, who is he to love, what to do at a certain point in time, and even worse someone who can control when he dies and how he dies.

Scary thought ain't it? Having someone to 'write' your life out. But even when he knows how and when he is gonna die, he embraces it fully, finishing things that he wanted to always do, falling in love with someone that he'll never think of doing cos he's afraid, frightened that it'll be a tragedy.

Well, seems interesting ain't it? Well, I don't know bout you, the person who's reading my blog lol.. dunno if anyone visits my blog anymore since i dun update it that often and much. But if so far whatever i wrote actually interests you, please spend 2 hrs watching this show, its quite an interesting show to watch.

But to be honest, after watching this show, it got me kinda thinking, what happen when one day, you wake up in the morning, doing your routine procedures to go to work, or to school, you suddenly head a voice. A voice that's actually depicting ur every move, your every action, how you gonna live your life and then suddenly as your day goes along, a sentence is 'read' "Little did he/she know that this simple seemingly innocuous act would result in his imminent death." and then somehow you realize that you are gonna die, how soon or in what way that you are gonna kick the bucket you have no idea. And the more important fact is that someone is actually depicting your life in a story he/she is writing or thinking. Wouldn't that fact scare you? or rather knowing that you don't actually have control of your life as you know it. every action you do or thing you say actually affects your 'story' in some way?

hahaha, you might say things like "wtf hahaha why you so free can think of things like that?" or "You are your life's own master, no one else can control it" or "Heck, its just a bloody movie for Christ sakes lol"

Well like i said, its just some of the what ifs that i actually think of. It might not really happen or its just fiction. but somehow i like thinking of things like this. well nonetheless, this movie is definitely worth your 2 hours ^^ so enjoy the show if u are interested ^^.

Btw, happy 10 yrs anniversary to all Hongkongers on the 10th year where HK was returned rightfully back to the Mainland.

不要问我为什么会把这次的Blog大部分都会用华文来写。。。。 可能是因为最近看了太多台湾连戏剧吧。。 像在几天前刚看完《天使情人》或Angel Lover。 我相信我的朋友没几个会去追台湾的连戏剧。。 可是，我对你们说，这部《天使情人》不管是男的还是女的都应该花点时间去看一下下。不看就会变得您的损失。

自从我看完40集的戏时，我想了想一些问题关于爱情，关于在新加坡能否一个人出来独立，或者如果说从小就生长在台湾会不会比较自由，还有很多很多的问题。哈哈哈哈。。。 我那晚刚看完的时候害到我整个晚上睡不着，就是想了很多问题没到凌晨三点钟都还不能入眠。。

这是我生平第一次因为在想一些该算是无聊的问题而睡不着觉。。。。

我是还有很多的想法想写出来。 可是我现在不懂该如何继续写这些想法，可能会分开几个blog来说和写出来吧。。。。。。

Well its been a while since my last post. The past few months has been hectic..... yeah hectic would be a correct word. The process of searching myself(um... some things have settled but still searching) and most sad thing is the passing of a loved one.

I find myself asking this question sometimes when i watch jdramas or anime, why am i born here instead of japan or somewhere else, where money... isn't looked upon that much... or there are places where i can escape to.. without having to spend tons of money, like in japan where and when u are sick of the city life all you need to do is to head to a station and u can go to the countryside.... escape............................. escape from your family, friends, relatives, who keep asking you, "so wat are you doing now?" "so wat are your plans for the future?" well at least some of them stop after asking that question...... but there are just some 三姑六婆 who says more things after that and all u can do is just feel embarressed and smile and say yes yes.... well.. i've got one thing for u.. u are just my grandma's relative.. not my freaking family for christ sakes.. so shut the fuck up... u have no right to judge me.....

Why isn't society able to accept someone who lives life by the day, why is there a conception of "failure to plan = plan to fail" i know.. the least i could do is to find proper work and at least return the favour to my parents for bringing me up all these years...... but... thing is idk where am i headed.. or where should i head... even though my parents just say go straight into everything or any work u can find and then see whether its the right job for you.... well thats true.. but working a while then quitting from the job... isn't something the society accepts. which company would want to employ someone who works for 1 month who then says he/she quits. arghh... fuck it i don't know what the fuck i'm saying >.>

Oh well, at least my ass is enrolled into studying for an advanced dip in travel tourism and hospitality work and study program thats why i said i'm settled for now. well work and study although it might be tough... work 6 days and study for one full day ; ;.. hopefully my ipod can thru these 2 coming years.. at least i know that in this sector my ass will still be employed lol.. i hope... haha.....

Yesterday i just finished watching an anime by the name of "Welcome to the N.H.K" the main story is about a male protagonist who is a hikkikomori (Definition: Individuals who refuse to leave their parents' house, and isolate themselves away from society and family in a single room for a period exceeding six months. While the distinctiveness of the phenomenon varies depending on the individual, some youths remain in isolation for years, or in rare cases, decades.) Well. its quite an interesting show abt it... lol.. even talks abt the addiction to online games. as the story was progressing i myself actually saw a part of me somewhere in the show. Obsession of games, not willing to find work.. well... lol.. at least i haven't shut myself off to society. my unwillingness to get out of the house is to save watever money i have left. theres a few parts in the show thats quite true. Like when the male lead who got so damn hungry cos he didn't have money to buy food cos hes not working and his parents had to stop sending him money due to some reasons. I guess the onli time a person actually gets a turn for the better is when he/she doesn't have food or water to drink... then i guess you'll force your ass to start working. well dun spoil anything else.. please d/l the show and watch.. very nice lol.....

Hmmm another year has passed to the time where restaurants, theme parks, parks, shopping centres are packed with couples. A time where chocolates and flowers cost 100%-200% more than their original prices on low key periods. Sales from everything that can be given as a present that'll go up. Yes its Valentine's day!!! Happy valentine's day everyone. Spend a fun and loving day with ur loved one.

Oh yea... Congratulations to Mr and Mrs Kenny Kwok who's gonna ROM tomorrow. Congratulations!!!!

Tomorrow's gonna be a busy day for me i think... Cousin getting married @ ROM tomorrow.

Wow 1st post of the new year lol.. nothing much happened within these month other than getting my arse back from China lol.. And attending the wedding dinner of Mrs Hong aka Sharon Lee haha.. congratulations again to the newly weds.

Yesterday while online in FFXI, I was partying with my mates and then i heard them saying the news was reporting the death of a celebrity. I thought it was someone who retired and passed away due to old age. But i was shocked when i heard it was 許瑋倫. Passed away so young at the age of 29.

She was involved in a car accident, and she went into a coma after that. :/ next thing, her heart stopped beating and then was pronounced dead at 7:37pm. Although i'm not a big fan of her or anything, but it kinda disheartening to hear someone who pass away at such a young age due to an accident.

Whenever you hear these kinda things where young pple who are enjoying their prime of their age suddenly die of an unexpected incident, I feel kinda sad. They haven't lived their lives to the fullest and yet die unexpectedly.

Well, i've nothing much to say, just thought i share this bit of info.

Probably will talk abt my trip and sharon's wedding dinner in my next post or something. If i'm not lazy >.>. my condolences to her family, friends and fans of her.
